SHE HAS DONE IT!
Sophia Morgan is set to attend her second Olympics at the age of just 20 years old! Sophia has been working extremely hard to qualify Fiji for the games, and she did just that last week at Sail Sydney!
” I finished up 8th overall after a tough medal race and along with New Zealand qualified our countries in the ILCA 6 for the Paris Olympics. We had a range of conditions, from sea breezes to hot Westerlies with it getting up to 20knots+ on day three. It was a new challenge with having ferries and yachts on our race courses too, at one point I even had to tack away from the manly ferry as it charged through our whole fleet!”
Congratulations Sophia we are so proud of this huge achievement you have certainly earned it! We can’t wait to watch you in Marseille and over the 2024 season. 16
