Congratulations to RAYC members Sally Garrett and Neil Easton on their exceptional win at the 2024 Flying Fifteen Nationals last weekend. The regatta was hosted by Wanaka Yacht Club and despite the snow on the mountains and chill in the air 16 boats competed. Fellow RAYC sailors Jenny Price and Alana Pooley also made the trek south landing themselves on the podium in third place following six races in varying conditions.
Well done teams it was great to see such strong results come out of the regatta and both boats so consistently up the front of the pack. Both teams have now made the long drive back to Auckland to return to reality and we look forward to seeing you all at the club to celebrate together.
