It was double trouble this weekend at the RS Feva Traveller series with a clean RAYC sweep. Two teams Anna Dold and Lola – Jean Hutchens and Josh Dixon and Tom Peters are preparing for the Inspire Sail GP Regatta, and after the teams finished in first and second overall which shows a lot of promise.
Tom and Josh were in a league of their own, finishing 25 points ahead of 2nd place with a complete picket fence score card. Anna and Lola’s jib halyard snapped in race one causing them to retire but they managed to kept it consistent after that, finishing all of the races in the top five to secure first females and second overall!
Congratulations teams on such a fantastic regatta and result, we are so proud of you all and look forward to watching you all compete at the upcoming Sail GP Inspire Regatta down in Christchurch and the upcoming nationals. A big thank you to the parents who went along and supported, and the coaches who are currently working with the teams.
