We had an amazing turnout today for the first Auckland Junior Winter Sprint Series of the year with 104 sailors out on the water!!!
Unfortunately, We couldn’t have it all today and while we enjoyed the warm weather and sunshine the wind was nowhere to be found and racing was canned after a long on-water delay for course A. Green Fleet managed to get three very tight races away. Congratulations to Ben Keoghan from Torbay Sailing Club on his win today, everyone sailed so well in extremely tough conditions.
Thank you to everyone who travelled from near and far for today’s regatta. Despite the lack of wind and racing we all still had a great day, thanks to the amazing team of volunteers both on and off the water.
