Sunday 8th November not only provided 3 windward / leward races but also a pre race AGM for the Ms, what more could you ask for!
Thank you to all those that arrived early for the AGM it was good to get some of the housekeeping sorted so we can all focus on the racing.
Three races were held in shifty SW 7 to 12 knot breeze with six boats having to decide on heading out for more tide or go inshore and look for the glamour shift, and there were a few to be found.
Race 1 was taken out by Mach One, who sailed a near perfect race to beat Marksman, who had some back luck and ripped their kite on the last downwind to the finish.
Race 2 was again held in similar conditions however Menace snuck away from the fleet and held the lead until the final gybe when Marksman sniggled past. The leading 2 were followed by Mach One and Motivator, which had a great race holding a podium finish until the final few metres
Race 3 was a little shiftier, with hints of NW and staying offshore was the better tactic to ensure you stayed in the wind. Mach One yet again read the conditions better than the rest of the fleet and took the lead from the start and never looked back.
Well done again to all six boats who completed all the races.
