Feva Technique


An intermediate level, the Feva Orientation course is for children who have prior sailing experience. This course will cover the aspects of two-handed boats and the different components with the addition of a jib and gennaker sails. Prior to racing, sailors must complete a Feva Orientation to ensure they are ready for the close action race training.

By participating in the event, a student, member or user automatically grants Royal Akarana Yacht Club and the sponsors, the right in perpetuity, to make, use and show, from time to time and at their discretion, any motion pictures, still pictures and live, taped or film television and other reproductions of him/her during the period of the competition for said event in which the competitor participated and in shall in all material related to the said event without compensation.
