RAYC has taken another step forward and is now using the TopYacht results and online entry system for all racing.
The TopYacht program was developed by Rod McCubbin from Melbourne, Australia and is used by a very large percentage of Australian events. RAYC is the first club in New Zealand to start using the program.
“We wanted a system that can store all the boats details including crew information that could be available when a boat enters numerous events,” said RAYC Sailing Manager Suellen Hurling. “Especially when it comes to our larger races like ANZ Sail Fiji where competitors can edit their entry data and select the crew they will race with.”
The 2015/2016 Gold Cup Series is the first event which will use the program.
Like all new toys, it’s sure to have a teething phase. All questions regarding the entry system can be directed to Suellen by calling 021 89 2004 during business hours.
