Movements around The Landing

You may have noticed a gaping whole in what was once the RAYC Hardstand Area for Flying 15’s, 49ers, Finns and a selection of other classes.

As part of our resource consent and redevelopment plan, this area will once again become a public car park inline with the concept plan for The Landing.

The Flying 15’s are now located opposite the Marina and the 49ers, Finns and other boats, have been temporarily relocated to the area around the clubhouse.

We have also conducted a Surf Ski audit to ensure we allocate enough rack space for active users in containers and Auckland Sailing Club area during the construction phase of the new Hyundai Marine Sports Center.

Thank you to all the members who assisted with these relocations and the audit of racks.  Currently we are completely full in terms of Harstand space!

RAYC is working closely with Auckland Sailing Club and Orakei Water Sports to ensure an easy transition once it comes time to officially move out of our current building.

More news and updates on the eventual move out date will be provided once we have the official construction time lines in place.

Exciting times are ahead!
