On Sunday 18th October, Royal Akarana Yacht Club will celebrate 120 years of racing with the Opening Day of the 120th Season.

The day is open to all those wishing to learn more about the club and even to have a go of sailing and other marine activities.

The Flying 15 and the M-Class fleet will once again race for the Ffemmy, a trophy symbolising season supreme with the winning fleet being the first to start racing on all club days. Last season this was won by the Flying 15 sailors, but the M-Class fleet is keen to win back the uniquely shaped trophy.

    Dear Reader,

Is the M-class racing also open for members of the Milford Cruising Club ? Or is there a possibility to crew on any of the other M-claas boats ?

    Friendly greetings from Eduard

Hi Eduard – All M-Class boats are eligible to race on Opening Day.
As a non-member you would need to enter.
