What to Wear
For training most SUP athletes wear polyester or merino thermal layers with exercise leggings or boardshorts. Kids feel the cold a lot faster, so a wetsuit or spring suit or neoprene layer is ideal.
All students will be provided with a Starboard watershirt.
Please bring a towel and warm clothes (e.g. polar fleece)
No SUP experience required, but students must be able to swim a minimum distance of 25m unaided.
Kids with SUP experience who are Under 12yo will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
